Brass is our home metal — free-cutting, forging, and lead-free alloys. That is not a brass-only desk. Aluminium, stainless steel (SS) 202 / 304 / 316, copper, and mild steel are quoted when you name the grade.
Live metal prices on the products page are a market window for copper, aluminium, zinc, lead, nickel, and brass. They are not the quote. The quote is the finished fastener, fitting, or drawing job.
Catalogue sizes take a written size, standard, finish, and quantity. Custom parts take a file. Do not send a one-line chat for a turned insert.
Name the metal on the Request for Quote (RFQ) even when a drawing is attached. Mixed hardware is fine. “Metal parts” without a grade is not.
