Agro lots are overseas only. Hardware can move in India on GST, or FOB / CIF from the west coast. Name the city for hardware, or the port for export.
Hardware for India moves on a Goods and Services Tax (GST) invoice and a truck from Gujarat. Write the city and the quantity. Smaller lots than a container are fine when that quantity is on the Request for Quote (RFQ).
Agro lots are not quoted for India. They are quoted Free On Board (FOB) or Cost, Insurance and Freight (CIF) from the west coast. Mundra, Pipavav, and Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) are the named ports. If your port is not named, still send it. Hardware export uses the same FOB or CIF terms.
The Incoterm is not a decoration. It decides who pays freight, who books the vessel, and which papers travel with the lot. If you are not sure, write “not sure” — we will not assume CIF when you wanted FOB.
Lots leave India. Agro buyers sit overseas. Hardware buyers sit in India and overseas. We quote the lot as written.
